Tracey Piggot - Synergy
Three decades of awesome admin adds up for Tracey
Profile: Tracey Piggot

Tracey Piggot is our awesome Admin Manager and as of September 2022 has been with the company 29 years.

As well as looking after the day to day administrative requirements for the company Tracey is also involved with the accounts, from invoicing, purchase/sales ledger and payroll. Her role also covers the businesses HR functions and where required, Tracey serves as PA to Synergy Chairman Hugh Stevens.

Hers is a role with many varied hats and that’s what she loves about her job; no two days are the same and she has developed a wide and varied skill set over the years.

Tracey first experienced Synergy as a temp in the summer of 1993 and must have made a good impression as she was asked back shortly after to take up full time reception duties. She says: “Lisle Street in Loughborough was a very different environment, a very old building that needed constant revamping and refurbishment as the business grew, so I quite often pitched in and rolled my sleeves up – eventually overseeing the development at Sills Road and then the transition from Lisle St to Sills Road in 2016/17 alongside the Chief Technical Officer.

“I’ve seen and experienced a lot of changes; the initial rapid expansion and then managing the economic downturn of the late 90s, to helping with the rebirth of the company and set up and launch of our US arm. Plus, I’ve always felt appreciated and valued. We have a lovely working environment and there’s never a dull moment, while the people are wonderful and my colleagues really are like a second family.”

Tracey (age 53) hails from Leicester, but has long lived in nearby Shepshed. She is married with a 27-year-old son and has recently become a Nana to a little girl called Piper. Outside of work, Tracey loves nothing more than reading a good book to relax, as well as eating out with family and friends.
